Sales Policy & New Owner Information

PIGS

Deposits:

  • Non-refundable Deposit of 50% of the sale price is due per piglet.

  • Payment form may be cash or check, or other compensation agreed to by both parties.

  • Deposits, including partial deposit payments, are only refundable if Seller fails to provide livestock.

  • Deposits, including partial deposit payments, will not be refunded if Buyer cancels Agreement without concurrence of Seller, if Buyer fails to make final payment as agreed to above, if payment fails to clear Seller’s bank or if Buyer fails to accept transfer of livestock by pick up date as outlined in the Final Payment section below (unless agreed to in writing by Seller). This is necessary as Seller will incur costs to board and re-market livestock.

 

Prices:​​

  • KuneKune:​

    • Unregistered Gilt $400​

    • Unregistered Boar $200

    • AKKPS Registered Gilt $500

    • AKKPS Registered Boar $450

    • ****Prices subject to change based off of the individual pig confirmation and bloodline

 

Final Payment:

  • Final payment due on pick-up date. 

    • Piglets are ready to be picked up at 8 weeks.​

    • Local pickup only. Decision to meet within 1 hour is at the discretion of the seller and a transport fee of $50 will be applied to the final payment total. 

    • Reserved animals not picked up by the agreed upon date will be charged $7/day board for a maximum of 14 days. Should the buyer refuse to pay the boarding fees or pickup within the 14 day period, Buyer's reservation and non-refundable deposit will be forfeited and the animal will be placed for sale.

  • Payment form may be cash or check, or other compensation agreed to by both parties. All forms of payment must clear the customer’s bank before livestock will be transferred.

 

Services and Fees Veterinarian health certificate:

  • If requested by Customer, Seller will obtain an appropriate certificate from its veterinarian. Cost will be according to the quote from the veterinarian, plus a transportation fee.

  • Fees due at time of request to allow for adequate time to schedule vet appointment and have necessary tests completed.

  • Seller not liable for delay in receiving piglet due to the request for the health certificate.

Registration for KuneKune Piglets:

  • Seller will pay for piglet registration through AKKPS if applicable.

  • Seller is not responsible for delays in registration due to UC Davis/Neogen and/or AKKPS.

Further Agreements: 

  • Seller agrees that livestock provided will be of sound health at transfer.

  • Seller is not responsible for the health or welfare of livestock, including any latent (hidden) physical defects or illness (including inability to breed or nurture offspring as breeder livestock), after transfer to Customer.

  • Title to the livestock will transfer to Customer upon payment of all agreed fees and delivery to or pickup by Customer or Customer’s representative. Both parties agree that this contract will be interpreted under the applicable laws of the State of South Carolina.

  • If any provision this Contract is held unenforceable all remaining provisions of this Contract shall remain in full force and effect.

  • This Agreement may be modified only in writing and signed by both parties. Email messages confirming agreement by both parties will suffice and be considered as modifications to this contract.

​

Prices:

  • Silkie and Frizzle:

    • $10/Chick (sold as straight run), $20/Pullet, $20 Rooster, $40/Hen

  • Showgirls:

    • $10/Chick (sold as straight run), $20/Pullet or Rooster, $50/Hen

  • Barnyard Mix Egg Layers:​

    • $20/hen, $10/Rooster​​

Seller agrees that poultry provided will be of sound health at transfer. Seller is not responsible for the health or welfare of poultry, including any latent (hidden) physical defects or illness (including inability to breed or nurture offspring as breeder), after transfer to Customer.

Livestock Guardian Dogs

Deposits:

  • Non-refundable Deposit of 50% of the sale price is due per puppy.

  • Payment form may be cash or check, or other compensation agreed to by both parties.

  • Deposits, including partial deposit payments, are only refundable if Seller fails to provide livestock.

  • Deposits, including partial deposit payments, will not be refunded if Buyer cancels Agreement without concurrence of Seller, if Buyer fails to make final payment as agreed to above, if payment fails to clear Seller’s bank or if Buyer fails to accept transfer of puppy by pick up date as outlined in the Final Payment section below (unless agreed to in writing by Seller). This is necessary as Seller will incur costs to board and re-market puppy.

 

Prices:​​

  • Puppy:​ $500​

    • ****Prices subject to change based off of the individual puppy confirmation and temperment

 

Final Payment:

  • Final payment due on pick-up date. 

    • Puppies are ready to be picked up at 8 weeks.​

  • Puppies will come with their first set of shots, dewormed, and a veterinarian health check.

  • Seller agrees that puppies provided will be of sound health at transfer.

  • Seller is not responsible for the health or welfare of the puppy, including any latent (hidden) physical defects or illness (including inability to breed or nurture offspring as breeder livestock), after transfer to Customer.

  • Title to the puppy will transfer to Customer upon payment of all agreed fees and delivery to or pickup by Customer or Customer’s representative. Both parties agree that this contract will be interpreted under the applicable laws of the State of South Carolina.

  • Deposits, including partial deposit payments, will not be refunded if Buyer cancels Agreement without concurrence of Seller, if Buyer fails to make final payment as agreed to above, if payment fails to clear Seller’s bank or if Buyer fails to accept transfer of livestock by pick up date as outlined in the Final Payment section below (unless agreed to in writing by Seller). This is necessary as Seller will incur costs to board and re-market livestock.

  • Nigerian Dwarf Goats:​

    • Unregistered Doe $300​

    • Unregistered Buck $200

    • ADGA Registered Doe $550

    • ADGA Registered Buck $450

    • ****Prices subject to change based off of the individual goat confirmation and bloodline

 

Final Payment:

  • Final payment due on pick-up date. 

    • Goats are ready to be picked up at 8 weeks or upon weaning. ​

    • Bottle babies will be sold at the discretion of the breeder upon request.

    • Local pickup only. Decision to meet within 1 hour is at the discretion of the seller and a transport fee of $50 will be applied to the final payment total. 

    • Reserved animals not picked up by the agreed upon date will be charged $7/day board for a maximum of 14 days.
